Hello!

Sunday 19 May 2013

Hi everyone!

I am still here, I just moved house and I have finally settled in (almost) and our internet has just been reconnected.

This is the new Hell Bunny Karen dress in lilac (I also bought it in blue)... It is quite freezing here in Australia, though the sun is still nice and warm, so I spend a bit of time on the balcony with a herbal tea.

So I think I will be getting the most use out of the dresses in spring/summer as I get quite cold easily even though I wore stockings and a cardigan. I am getting a Hell Bunny coat soon which I am very excited about. I now need to buy/make more winter dresses.

I love the quality of this dress... Well I just love the quality of Hell Bunny in general. Their new range is amazing, I think the brand just gets better and better! I have been a fan of this wonderful brand for a good few years now!

I recently bought these white vintage 1950s gloves and they are so perfect, my vintage glove collection is quite huge now! And the lovey basket purse with a lucite handle was a gift from my boyfriend's mother last year for my birthday.

Anyway, this is just a little blog post to tell you that I'm still around!

  1. I just got this dress too! I couldn't resist the lilac and polka dots! I love the gloves with it! You look so elegant. I think I might need to get some kind of white pillbox hat or something to complete my look. I'm obsessed with Hell Bunny, too (though is anyone else feeling weird about the sizing being more like vanity sizing? I have older dresses from them where the mediums fit, but are on the smaller side, and the two most recent ones I've gotten run quite large!). Such a gorgeous dress on you.

    1. Oh how exciting! I hope that you feature it on your blog soon! When I bought my first Hell Bunny dress a few years ago I wore small which was like an 8-10 and then I ordered more dresses and the small was way to big (even the dresses with elastic backing) so I wear xs now. I've heard that a lot of people have had trouble with sizing but a lot of brands seem to be like that. I'm fine with sizing now. Oh I just adore HB though they are such a great brand and high quality (good prices too)! x

  3. I've been really liking Hell Bunny recently as well - I don't have anything from their new collection but there isn't much from it that I wouldn't consider buying.

  4. I absolutely agree about Hell Bunny - I was never a fan but lately they've been going from strength to strength. I adore the sunflower print two-pieces and the Melanie dresses. I've been trying to cut down on buying repro but I don't know how much longer I'll be able to resist!
    Love your gloves too! X

Lovely dress, but it's Hell Bunny, so it would have to be! Your stockings and gloves give it such an authentic flare :)

  6. I have this dress in red, and I also think that the Hell Bunny designers have been knocking it out of the park this season! Looks like we have more or less the same style of dresses. I'm seriously thinking about buying it in mint as well. ;)
