Another new season piece from Hell Bunny's latest range, I am loving this tropical print jumpsuit!

Florida Jumpsuit - c/o Hell Bunny (also available in pineapple print)
Hat - Thrifted
Sunglasses - Pared Eyewear

A Tuesday for me is usually spent at the beach, this includes a dog walk and then brunch which is good start to the day. It is really starting to feel like Autumn now, though despite the windy weather lately the warm sun feels so good when walking outdoors.

This Hell Bunny jumpsuit is so cute and extremly comfortable! Perfect for hot summer days and easy to throw on and look put together when you don't feel that way due to the heat or just when you've had a busy week in general. The is no zip, just an elastic waist and a button at the back of the neck, special mention of the deep pockets, always essential. I love the pink tropical flowers and flamingos and it's even better against the black background which makes the print pop!

My style has changed a bit over the past year, I still love vintage, all of my dresses and always will. But I have been wearing a lot of boho style clothing, trying different things and still mixing in my vintage pieces. Though my lifestyle has changed a bit these days too so that can have an affect. I love that this jumpsuit and quite a few pieces from Hell Bunny's new range can be have a bit more of a relaxed feel to it, style it more retro if you like or a bit more casual too and you'll look fabulous no matter what!

I haven't been setting my hair very often in vintage styles lately too as I am embracing my natural curls, now that my hair has grown out back to it's natural blonde state and I've switched to organic products it now curls the way I want it to naturally. Though I do enjoy setting it into vintage styles maybe a couple of times a fornight (like I have here for this photoset), it's nice to have my hair natural and in a styled state.

Style is always evolving and since I was a little girl I have always loved to experiment with it.

Autumn at the Beach

Tropicana Dress - c/o Hell Bunny
Belt - Princess Highway
Brooch - c/o Erstwilder
Hat - Thrifted
Shoes - Wittner

You have probably noticed my lack of blogging lately, life has been busy and although I have missed it the break has been nice. It is now Autumn here in Australia though it is only early, we are starting to feel the chill here in NSW but the sun is still really warm, I went for a swim or two about a week ago!

What better way to blog again than with one of my all time favourite brands, I selected a few really beautiful and easy to wear pieces that suit my lifestyle at the moment, though I always make time to go to the beach, it always relaxes me.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it on my blog but Max and I got engaged earlier this year, he gave me the most beautiful antique Victorian ring and asked me on these rocks by the beach.

As for this gorgeous dress, I wearing my usual size xs, it is a little loose on my waist which I have pulled in with a belt, it has pockets, a pom pom trim on top, adjustable straps with bows on top and a gorgeous pineapple-tropical print. It is nice and light to wear which is essential for really hot weather, it also looks super cute with a cardigan.

It has been a little while since I rocked a nautical dress like this and I am absolutely loving my first Retrolicious dress! I had to take it out to the waterfront for these photos of course!

Lost at Sea Dress - c/o Retrolicious
Brooch - Erstwilder
Belt - old
Hat - Rivers
Shoes - c/o Shoe Fun

I have always been curious about Retrolicious clothing, they offer lots of beautiful styles and prints. I was super excited to try this gorgeous nautical shirtwaist dress. The more you look at the print, the more you see, it is so full of detail!

It's always exciting when I find a shirtwaist dress that suits me and fits really well, the dress has functional front buttons, a side zip, pockets and is made with lovely breathable cotton fabric. It seems to tick all of the boxes. I wore it all day, on a humid day might I add and I was very comfortable. I am wearing size small and love the fit, it fits well without making me feel restricted.

Shipping was also really quick from the US to Australia so all in all I have been really impressed with this brand so far! I think this will be one of my go to dresses as it is so cute and just an easy dress to chuck on too... They are my favourite kind of dresses lately as life is so busy.

I have been wearing a lot of Princess Highway lately and that's because I just really love everything they have on offer. I swung into the Princess Highway store on Swanson St, I always visit this store and picked up this gorgeous new season outfit.

Cindy Sweater and Headband - Also by Princess Highway (purchased by myself to complete the look)

This outfit has made me quite excited for cute autumn/winter looks and it was nice to take some photos when it was still cool in the morning.

I've been on the lookout for a pinny like this for the past couple of years and I was super excited t see this one on display at the Swanson St store! It's nice to try something a little different to what I usually wear and I have been doing that a lot this past year. My style changes a lot and it feels good to not restrict myself to one style or era only.

The pinny is made with beautiful soft but sturdy corduroy and does up with a front zip, I am wearing my usual PH size 8. The shoes are so cute and comfy, I love the little heel and the scallop detail, I went with size AU9/EURO40.
The Cindy sweater is so so cute, perfect colour for Autumn too, you can't see in the photo as it only shows one but the front is covered in embroidered flowers (click the link about in my outfit details to see).
There wasn't a size 8 available in the store so I went with 6 as this was recommended for me. It creates a nice fitted look by sizing down and has a bit of stretch. I would advise sizing up or sticking to your usual size normally though as I would have typically gone with my usual size.

When the weather does eventually cool down I plan on wearing stockings to winterise the look a little more and keep warm in the cold.

It was actually really hot weather when we stayed in Melbourne which I am thankful for as I only packed summer dresses and light cardigans so it all worked out pretty well in the end. We stayed in a gorgeous Victorian terrace house and it was just so beautiful, it was really cool inside too as we didn't realise it was hot until we stepped foot out of the house. It was such a lovely weekend away and long over due for Max and I. It is nice to be back home and back to sleeping in my own bed.

We have been in Melbourne this weekend for a wedding, the weather has been beautiful and warm. I only packed summer outfits and some light cardigans, so luckily my suitcase of clothes are weather appropriate.

Parrot Dress (cardigan is past season) - Princess Highway
Brooch - Erstwilder
Bag - Review Australia
Hat - Rivers
Sandals - Porronet

Dresses with low back and pinafore styles are always a fav to wear, especially when it's nice warm weather. I originally bought this dress in black, then this version went on sale so I bought it too. I love both but I really like then warm tones of this dress on me a bit better.

I have been wearing quite a lot of Princess Highway lately, I really love their prints and easy to throw on styles. They make some really great knitwear as well. Whenever I am in Melbourne it's always a treat to pop into one of their stores, hopefully I will be making a visit later today as I didn't get enough time to on Friday when we arrived.

Max and I had a great time at then wedding we went to yesterday, it was great to catch up with friends and to meet some of Max's Melbourne friends that I have been waiting to meet. It was a great wonderful night celebrating a beautiful couple, having endless laughs, yummy food and a boogie on the dancefloor.

I better end this post here as we are going to head into the city soon, after Max wakes up from his nap. We had breakfast at a cute little French patisserie not far from us and I think we are in slight food coma.
