Beret - Myer
Luxe Monaco Heels in Metallic French Champagne - c/o Charlie Stone Shoes

Another set of images I posted on my Instagram and are now being archived into the blog. Take about a week or so after our wedding. We went out for brunch and Max took some quick photos of me in this super cute Hell Bunny outfit.

Pinafores always make me feel so cute but I love that this one has such a lovely fit to it that it feels like a more mature style pinafore dress, the twirling skirt and pockets give it extra bonus points. I love it styled with this simple knit top though I bet it would look cute without a layered top for the warmer weather, I must try that!

The shoes are so beautiful, I wore them during the evening of my wedding too. They were a sweet gift sent to me from Sam of Charlie Stone Shoes and I loved them so much for how glam they are but also comfortable the heel is.

Okay, so these photos are from December 2018 when it was my birthday and I wanted nothing more than to the reptile park as it had been years since I last went. I made this dress about a week before my birthday so I had the perfect Australiana themed dress to wear. This is probably my favourite dress that I have sewn!

Dress - Me-made
Pattern: Butterick B6322 Gertie
Fabric: Jocelyn Proust Warratah Fabric via Spotlight

Hat - Seed Heritage
Brooches - c/o Erstwilder
Shoes - c/o Charlie Stone Shoes

I love looking back at this dress and I have worn it so many times so that is always a good sign that it is a good make. How beautiful is this Jocelyn Proust Warratah fabric? I can't help but feel a little sad thinking of all of the Australian animals and the land that has been destroyed from the bushfires.

If you would like to donate to the fires please do, when it comes to donating to the wildlife try even donating to smaller organisations so they directly get the funds. Donating to our firefighters and the people the people directly affected by this is vital of course too.

When I first sewed this dress with some cheaper practice fabric I loved it immediately at that point too, I'm thinking about making another one too. When you find a dress, pattern and silhouette that you love so much I see no shame in making as many as you like! When I flick between both dresses I see major improvements with this one and that is always rewarding when sewing.

Dress - Bohemian Traders
Sunglasses - c/o Specsavers Australia (from their range with Red or Dead London)
Hat - Rivers
Sandals - Porronet
Bag - Bed, Bath and Table

Some snaps from Saturday, outfit photos snapped by my brother and dad. Other photos taken by me and my constant need to stop and look to look at the beautiful blooms.

This dress is one of my favourites, or should I say this fabric. I discovered Bohemian Traders mid last year, to my luck it was one of their huge sales so I ended up buying multiple pieces in this fabric which I love so much. I have since added some more pieces to my wardrobe that aren't in this print haha!

Not much to report at the moment, I've been a little unwell this week so it has been bed and couch rest but I feel like I am getting better, thankfully. I should probably toddle back off to bed now that I've written this short post.

After not having as much time to sew last year, I am back into the swing of things and am overflowing with many ideas of what I want to sew and have already started, so look out for more sewing posts this year!

Shoes-  Irregular Choice

Back in March 2019 the lovely and talented designer Maria of Sarsparilly asked me to be part of this photoshoot and of course I said yes!

I have always loved Sarsparilly's gorgeous clothes and after following each other online for a good few years it was so nice to finally meet each other. The shoot took place at the amazing Sherbet Birdie Photography studio in Sydney and it was great to meet photographer Sasha after following her work for time, Marija who is the hair and make-up artist was absolutely fantastic as well. I shot with the gorgeous Monica who again I know from Instagram, so it was fun to meet all these faces that I have known for a quite a while online and meet in real life for a fun photoshoot.

How great was my wig for the shoot? I look so different, it's insane! Maria wanted a bit of a 60'd/70's vibe for my look and I really had fun with it. I loved the make-up so much too!

There's no denying that I love beautiful clothes, retro vibes and of course cats - I also love Pusheen the cat. What a fabulous collaboration this is between two brands. I got to wear and see the clothes close-up on the shoot and the quality is absolutely fantastic. I love that these pieces are made with cotton sateen, so the fabric feels nice to wear and holds it's shape well, so when taken care of these are long lasting pieces.

My favourite piece has to be the playsuit as I love playsuits, ruffles and the blue/mint background... Oh and of course the cutest Pusheen print! These designs also have pockets which is a very important design factor, wouldn't you agree?

I have some behind the scenes photos I snapped from the day that I have been excited to post for ages, I will put them on my Instagram later tonight and keep a highlight on my Insta for them too.

Photos: Mum

Hat - Seed Heritage
Sandals - Porronet

This is my first experience with this Aussie swim brand and I am super impressed! Swimsuit like this make me feel like a real cool kid on the beach. The cut, the zip and the floaty sleeves just give me this surfer girl vibes and I am all for that.

I chose this swimsuit because I loved the style but also loved the pink boho print. I went for their size 10 and the fit is perfect and also fits comfortably with my long torso which is always a plus when it comes to full piece swimsuits. The fabric is really beautiful quality, the ruched stomach and moulded cups give great support and create a lovely shape. And zip it up or zip it down, it looks awesome both ways. I also love these type of swimsuits because they offer a bit more coverage from the sun.
The lovely team at Capriosca Swimwear also sent me this matching sarong too which is the perfect match and will take me straight from beach to cafe!

I can't wait to try more of their swimwear in the future!
