Stripes on the Harbour

Monday 13 April 2015

When I first discovered this jumpsuit it was already out of stock, I had been searching for it for quite a while and was super excited to find it in stock in an Australian store.

When I received it all my dreams came true and it was as gorgeous as the stock photos, yes I love it that much!

I had to alter it myself and take off a few inches, but it is good to know that Collectif create pants that are made to fit taller ladies without too many issues. I love how light and flowy the fabric is on this 1940's style jumpsuit and it looked so magical on a windy day at Darling Harbour on the weekend.

I am going to have so much use of this jumpsuit and hope that they make it in more colours and designs as I would like to have more!

  1. Once again, you look like you've stepped out of a film. So classic and so stunning! I don't have the legs to pull off something like this, but I love seeing others that do. I think Collectif make everything quite long, but yeah that must be better than alienating taller ladies!

Can't wait to see more from your time with Harlow Darling - the Instagram pics looked great! CC x

This jumpsuit suit's you great and it looks lovely with your hair color! Winter must be ending in Australia, right? Well I suggest you come to Belgium so you can keep wearing this lovely jumpsuit for a while ;)

  3. Omg, I love this! I am already foaming at the mouth for a jumpsuit and these photos didn't help matters! Lol. I know you said it was 40s inspired, but I love it because you look so timeless wearing it, meaning it's almost hard to pinpoint what decade you could be in. I love it when classic fashion does that, so bravo!

  4. You are rocking this great jumpsuit something fierce and really do look like you could have just stepped out of a 1930s or 40s movie set at the sea.
