The Anastasia Coat

This continues on from my last post, on top of the red velvet dress I wore the beautiful Anastasia coat and cape set to see Bob Dylan at The Sydney Opera House on the weekend. I bought it a few months ago and have been waiting to wear it out whilst the weather was still cool and thought this would be the perfect opportunity!

Again I was forced to get quick photos of it, but that's okay since I expect to wear it for many years and hopefully take it to Paris in the future.

It has to be one of the most luxurious and extravagant items of clothing in my wardrobe and I love it! The coat is really warm and is lined really nicely and I also like the fact that the cape is separate if you want a simpler look - It also came with a matching belt and big front pockets (I love pockets, but don't we all!?). I have to thank The PinUp Gal for her excellent service as always, I was lucky to get it in my size and I do not regret purchasing it!

I was very warm in my velvet dress and heavy coat on Sunday night, though the weather took a real change the next day and it was a beautiful sunny Spring day. Luckily I packed a perfect outfit to suit the weather and I will be blogging that next. You may already know what outfit that is if you follow my Instagram account!

  1. You always look so old Hollywood glam with your blonde curls and red lipstick, but this coat puts you OVER THE TOP!
