The Jetty

Wearing a beautiful 70's style maxi dress which is one of my summer staples!

Nina Maxi Dress in Tokyo Print - c/o Rasaleela Clothing
Hat - Glassons
Shoes - Target

I love heading to my favourite beaches during summer and exploring new locations, I've probably been to this jetty once before when I was a kid since it's close to another location we often visit but it felt new again and yes, Fifi and Leo jumped in for a swim!

It was a super hot day and I couldn't have picked a more perfect dress for the weather... It's cool, glamorous and has such a nice relaxed fit. Rasaleela is becoming one of my new favourite brands for it's wonderful boho designs, gorgeous prints and airy fabric... There are so many designs I can see myself wearing. This dress comes in two sizes: s/m and m/l so I tried the s/m and I think it fits really well, I have a bit of room in the back but that just means it is nice and cool to wear on hot days. The length works really well for me too, I'm approx 5'5" and can get away with wearing flat shoes with this dress. If Maxi dresses aren't your thing or the length is always an issue there are plenty of great styles on offer. I also shot some images of the Sophie dress in the same print, you can check it out here!

I can't believe it's now December... That means my Birthday, Christmas and the fact that it's the last month of the year, this year has passed by so quickly! I want to at least have one or two of my festive outfits on the blog and now that it's December I plan on pulling together some of my holiday looks. I started making a dress yesterday, it's been a too long since I did some sewing and it feels good to get back into it. Hopefully it will be finished before Christmas as my fabric is festive!

Have a great weekend!

  4. Happy early bday! I LOVE this dress! The 70s are so fun and kind of underused in vintage blogging world, so I'm eating this post up with a spoon lady! XO
