Yellow & Navy Damask Chateau Dress - c/o Unique Vintage
Necklace - Forever New
Shoes - Wittner

I took a trip to Gosford Classic Car Museum a couple of weekends ago with my dad and brother, I took this as a great opportunity to wear this beautiful dress out and the heels I recently bought to match (though I had been wanting a pair of blue heels for so long)!

We spent about 2 hours or so looking at all of the beautiful cars, they had basically everything you could think of and more... I was excited to see that there was a Dolorean, so excited that I forgot to take a photo!

As for the dress, it has the most gorgeous colour combination and print with an amazing cut which is perfect for summer or layered up with a cardi and a coat for winter (which is how I kept warm outside)! The has adjustable straps which is always a great feature on a dress and pockets another great feature for a dress. I went with my usual Unique Vintage size small and love the fit! I bought this necklace about two years ago because it's pretty + it was on sale, I finally put it to good use as it is a perfect match with the dress.

The lovely people at the museum took down the rope in front of the blue 1950s Alvis TB14 Roadster for me since my outfit matched the car and I was taking some photos next to it already, I was so thankful as it was one of my favourite cars and the colour is just so dreamy!

After the museum we had some lunch and a bit of shopping to end the day, I also bought a cute retro coffee mug at the gift shop because I could not resist.... I never really buy anything from gift shops haha.

  1. This dress is so unusual for its use of colour - it shouldn't work but it does! I love that kind of sweetheart neckline too, so flattering and so feminine. Looks great on you! x

  6. Thanks for your post. I’ve been thinking about writing a very comparable post over the last couple of weeks, I’ll probably keep it short and sweet and link to this instead if thats cool. Thanks.  https://www.eliaandponto.com/
