Autumn/Winter Mix Up in Rasaleela Clothing

Friday 16 June 2017

Today I'm sharing two dresses from Rasaleela clothing that I have previously featured on the blog but this time I have given them some Autumn/Winter appropriate styling!

I featured the Cassy dress a few months ago with summer styling and this time I added thick wool stockings, a long warm cardigan and some closed toe shoes to mix it up and make this dress wearable for the cooler weather. This is a nice and cosy throw together outfit and it's nice to know that this dress can be transitional when the weather is cooler, but come summer I will be chucking it over my bikinis for sure!

This is one of my favourite dresses ever and last week I wanted to play around with the styling so I could wear it out to the waterfront and still be warm, I first featured it in November with a summer hat.

For this style mix up I borrowed my mum's denim jacket (I'm still trying to find one for myself but I love her one haha), I wore my new black boots (which were bought during the end of winter sales last year and were put away for this winter) and my Lack of Colour brown boater hat. I love to wear boho clothing and it's always fun to play around with it. My mum also appreciates a bit of boho clothing and likes when I mix it up/take a break from pin up styling since she loves to wear this style to, she has a great little collection herself actually.

Rasaleela Clothing will be closing whilst they work overseas for next season's production so the final date to get orders in is Saturday the 17th of June otherwise orders will be shipped on the 31st of July.

I had the pleasure of working with the Rasaleela team recently on set to shoot some of their new designs and it was one of my favourite shoots ever! It was such a fun and relaxed environment, the team was amazing and there was even a resident cat named Dora who lived at the studio and spent most of the day sleeping on the vintage couch or socialising with us. It was also a pleasure to hear how some of the fabrics have been sourced/reproduced to bring designer Trish Louey's ideas to life, more on that soon!

We have had quite a rainy week here so I'm hoping that it clears up for my days off so I can get out and about in my outfits and get some blogging done!

Have a great weekend!
