Rasaleela: The Cassy Dress

Wednesday, 5 April 2017

I'm featuring the Cassy dress in two different prints on the blog today!

After being away from my computer for about a week I am back! Max was away for work so I stayed with my mum, however, I used that time to shoot lots of my outfits during the rain free moments each afternoon and some mornings. Now I am back to my computer I can edit, write and catch up on blog posts that I have been waiting to read. I do have my phone and tablet but I like to sit at my desk and read them mainly.

A couple of weeks ago I shot these gorgeous boho beachy dresses by Rasaleela, they are perfect for everyday wear or thrown over a bikini. I'm also going to be styling one of these dresses for a more Autumn look on the blog very soon as it works quite well and I love when garments can be worn during various seasons.

Shorter dresses aren't something I always wear but I thought why not and gave this new shorter style a try (full length options here). These will be my go-to summer dresses for the beach next summer and they will look cute with flats + a floppy hat too. This is an easy style to wear and quick to throw over your swimwear when you're given 5 or 10 minutes notice that "We're off to the beach soon, quick be ready!"

I wear both extra small and small in Rasaleela clothing but I tend to wear small in this type of style where the shoulders and back are covered, it ends up being the perfect comfortable fit that remains very flattering too. I love Rasaleela as the quality is really great, the prints are absolutely stunning and I love the wide range of styles to choose from.

I opted for light pink lipstick and my favourite pair of neutral strappy heels, I couldn't help but wear this hat with the green paisley dress. I didn't feel the need to go too overboard with styling as I love the simplicity of these looks and how relaxed they feel, the prints and colours of these dresses do the talking.

I love dressing in boho clothes when I'm not in my pin-up gear, just yesterday I was in a boho maxi dress with boots and I borrowed my mum's denim jacket (I so need to blog that look because I want to wear that combination again). It's always a nice change and a style that makes me feel really good about myself, I have been meaning to blog more of my boho style but always seem to miss the opportunity to photograph it. So thank you Rasaleela for making sure that I bring beautiful boho clothes to the blog with more to come soon.

But yes, be sure to look out for an Autumn style mix up for one of these dresses... I'm slowly pulling out my Autumn and Winter gear... It's starting to get cold!

  2. These dresses look really cute on you! I love the fun, 60s inspired prints, and you certainly know how to rock a mini. These would be great to take along on vacation - you could wear them as a cover up, but they're also nice for walking around during the day or a casual evening out.

  3. I think the shorter length really suits you - if you've got good legs why not flaunt them?! I am definitely thinking I need to up my beach cover-up game if I do honeymoon somewhere tropical; at this rate I'm going around all day in a towel! x

  4. Perfect holiday wear, the 'neach to bar' wear they talk about in magazines. The prints are particularly stunning, such gorgeous colours. I would like to see these in an Autumn look too! Xx
