Swimming at St Kilda

A visit to St Kilda Beach in Melboune included a dip in the ocean whilst wearing a super cute tropical swimsuit of course!

It's no secret that mum and I love the beach so for our first full day in Melbourne we made our scrambled eggs w/ spinach and rye bread, got dressed, packed our swimmers and then hopped on an early tram to St Kilda beach. We spent a good few hours here, firstly walking on the pier of the pavilion, did a bit more exploring before changing into our swimmers, we took these blog photos and then had a swim. The water was nice and cool, it was a good way to kick off the day and to get the beach whilst away from home.

As soon as I saw this Unique Vintage swimsuit I was obsessed! It is a total glamour suit and the print is so perfect for summer. I don't have a swimsuit in this particular style which was another reason to add it to the collection, the off shoulder look is elegant and a little bit fancy. You will see in the last photo that you can push the straps up which is quite necessary if you like to have a big swim and hit the waves, it looks super cute worn both ways. I am wearing my usual size small in Unique Vintage swimwear and again, no issues with the fit. I love it so much!

Mum and I had an awesome time at St Kilda Beach soaking up the sun and having a dip, we would love to spend more time here and explore this area more next time we visit. It was hot weather the whole time we were in Melbourne so I'm glad we made sure to get to the beach asap.
