I bought this dress on eBay a while ago and just really loved it. The sleeves are quite puffy, but I think the dress fits so nicely that it balances out the puffy look to avoid me looking like a walking disaster. And I don't mind a bit of puff every now and again! I wouldn't usually wear and 80s or 90s dress but the fabric is so nice, as is the cut.
Anyway, I wore this dress out to my boyfriend's birthday dinner a couple of days ago (the dinner was a week after his birthday)... I think I was a little overdressed for a restaurant that generally serves burgers, steaks and chips... But the cardigan made it a little more casual and the dress ended up looking like a nice skirt.
I didn't get many photos out as we were more focused on enjoying the food and company. Afterwards we went to Timezone to play arcade games which was extra fun!
We got on the Dance Dance Revolution game (or whatever it's called) and danced around for a while, played racing games and air hockey, in which I sent the puck flying across the room at one stage... Woops!
Anyway it was a fun night and it was nice to wear a dress that has been sitting in my wardrobe for too long!

ReplyDeleteReally lovely outfit - the tea length of the hem is so classic and partners wonderfully with those (fabulous!) double strap shoes. You look awesome, honey!
