Camping and a vintage style playsuit - Part 1

Playsuit made by me!

My cute blue sandals broke before I even got to our camping location!!! These are my practical camping and beach shoes though!
Beautiful sunset at the beach.

Playsuit - Made by my mum and I.

I went camping over the weekend with my father and my brother at the beach! We stayed in dad's camper which sits on top of his car... We usually would go camping in a tent, but this is such a great idea for pulling up at a beach and staying over night and having everything you need inside - such as bed, a fridge and a mini kitchen!

I have always loved camping and always been camping since I was a little girl! We did some fishing too and made yummy simple camping food.

Where I live there are beautiful beaches everywhere, so we only drove about 20 minutes away to our camping destination! We are very lucky to have such beautiful beaches in Australia. The water was so refreshing  and peaceful.

But yes! I finally got to wear this playsuit, my mum and I made it last year using a vintage 1960s pattern. It was nice for wearing on the beach. I had my swimsuit underneath. Though I did wear a longer skirt and long sleeve light-weight top at the beach with a hat and plenty of sunblock to protect myself from the sun.

The good thing about the camping by the beach means that you don't have to spend the day on the beach you can go back and fourth and relax in the shade again.

Anyway, there will be a few more posts to come soon... I had a great time!
