Florals for Spring

Tuesday 20 October 2015

Florals may not be Groundbreaking for spring as Miranda States in the Devil Wears Prada, though they are always a winner in my book!

Dress - Bernie Dexter
Shoes - Wittner
Hair Flower - c/o Miz Smitten Kitten

I really love hair flowers but sometimes I forget to wear them... But in a way I think I prefer to wear them during Spring and Summer as they really go well with my dresses.

On this particular day last week it was really sunny and quite humid so it was perfect weather to be out for lunch in this floral number... And then the clouds rolled in and it started raining as we took these  photos. It was sprinkling, but slowly getting heavier... I like the way they came out though and I was having a fab hair day so it was essential to get some quick outfit shots before going home - (see rainy umbrella pic here).

Continuing on from my last blog post about Miss Ruby Rabbit's setting spray, I can happily say that my hair held really well amongst the rain and humidity, apart from the expected bit of frizz my pin curls lasted and didn't completely disappear!

I always get super excited to pull out my floral Spring/Summer dresses and this is definitely a spring outfit that makes me feel super happy.

  1. Oh how I am glad to see flowers and the sun again, it's raining for weeks over here! I adore your dress and shoes, they remind me of one similar pair form "Zara" I was looking for.

  2. Yay for hair flowers - something I won't be seeing much of for a long time now! They're one of my favourite ever accessories and the bigger the better - so I'm adoring yours here! Not a brand I've come across before, either... x
