Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who's Wearing the Most Gingham of them All | ErstWilder

Friday 9 October 2015

A long blog title and an equally long blog post today... Pink and blue, oh how I love both!

Pink Gingham Top and Trousers - Collectif
Shoes - Melissa x Vivienne Westwood
Sunglasses - Asos

This outfit is quite an overload of gingham but this Erstwilder brooch still manages to stand out, which is something I have really been enjoying when styling these brooches. They are the perfect size for making a statement though they still remain a great subtle accessory for outfits like this!

I think the gingham creates a lovely little backdrop for the brooch and it ties in quite well with the whole colour scheme of this outfit. With my pom pom shoes and my ultimate dream pants I couldn't help but strut around that particular day, the first photo captured that - haha!

I may have been wearing a lot of pink but it did not feel like it was too much and over the top... Maybe because pastel pink gingham is just too awesome and made me feel happy whilst wearing it!

I am really loving 60s mod style fashion and am excited as my wardrobe grows to accommodate this new little love of mine! With my love for 20s fashion too I look forward to exploring both of these eras/style more.
