Synchronised Swimmers

I love a dress that buttons all the way down, has a nice full skirt and a really fun print - this one fits the description!

Jenny Dress in Synchronised Swimmers print - c/o Emily and Fin
Snap Happy Camera Earrings and Brooch - c/o Jubly Umph
Shoes - Novo
Necklace - Thrifted
Headband - eBay

This is such a perfect summer dress and I am always looking to add cute dresses that have breathable fabric for summer and are just really comfortable. As you look closer and closer at the details of this dress it becomes even more wonderful. The style of this dress first caught my attention and then when I saw the synchronised swimmers print I was in love! Another great feature is that it includes pockets which is always a great functional bonus when choosing a dress.

I went with the size xs (8) after reading the size chart and am very pleased with the fit, it gives me an extra inch or so to pop a swimsuit underneath or to have room after a meal, which is sometimes burgers by the beach. Emily and Fin now ships to Australia and New Zealand which is good to know! I'm looking forward to pulling this dress out of my wardrobe next summer as it will be another go-to dress for me.

Because I love blogging by the local waterfronts and beaches I instantly had to add this Jubly Umph camera set to this outfit, usually I would add a nautical brooch but the two share a nice connection for me. I really love the designs by this Australian brand and they are so well made, I have sensitive ears when it comes to earrings and have had no problems with these.

I still need to post a few sets of photos from my New Zealand trip so expect to see the odd one pop up.

Have a great weekend!

  1. This dress is my favourite from their new range too - the colours, the print and the shape all make me swoon! Interesting you say that the XS was a good choice as we're usually around about the same size, but when I wore an XS of theirs before I found it came up really big on me, so I'd probably go for an XXS (6) next time. Do you think I might struggle to do it up?! x

    1. It's such a cute dress! I found that the xs fit me well like most brands I wear. The waist has an extra inch or so room though the bust fits well (so I wouldn't size down myself). You have worn Emily and Fin before so maybe xxs will be best for you if that was what you found last time, it can be confusing with different dress styles though! x
