1960s Dress!

I bought this 1960s dress recently and was very excited to finally wear it out today! I had to take in the waist a bit and now it is a comfy-cute vintage dress to wear for various occasions... Whether it be a casual trip to the shops or out to dinner!

I bought my 60s purse (Well, I think it's a 1960s purse) from an op-shop today for $3.50! It's really sweet and has lovely detailing - it goes quite nicely with the dress. And the silver starfish clip-on earrings are a favourite of mine!

I'm really into my coral lipstick at the moment which I think for me personally is easier to wear throughout the day and a bit of a change from wearing red. I like pink lipstick as well... I don't wear a lot of make-up so I have fun trying different lipstick shades.

On Monday I will be starting an important week of work experience at a magazine publication in Sydney. I'm trying to decide on my outfits and packing what I can... And trying not to over pack. 

I'm hoping I can take a few photos of my outfits if I am able to spare 5 or 10 minutes each day with decent lighting, we'll see! 

I have a couple of vintage patterns coming my way soon, they are so beautiful and I can't wait to sew them!
