This nighty goes perfectly with my vintage 1950s bedcoat that I bought online... I always wanted a bedcoat like this, the blue is so pretty and the cut is so cute.
It's keeping me nice and snug during the rainy weather we have been experiencing the last couple of days! The bedcoat still has the original label and what looks like the original owners name attached to it.
I have a few nice vintage bedcoats now that I would like to feature on the blog overtime...
A pretty nighty and a vintage bedcoat puts me in such a good mood as I instantly feel glamorous.
It's quite enjoyable to get ready in pretty bed-wear before leaving the house and changing into a gorgeous dress.
Pretty and comfortable bed-wear is extremely important as I likes to spend my spare time in my comfy clothes as I lounge around the house and watch dvds...
Well, I'm am going to continue watching television and hopefully I can get some sewing done today too!

So beautiful! I barely ever wear my lovely silky nightwear anymore since its always too cold. Perhaps a bed jacket is the solution! This one sure is lovely :) x

What a wonderfully lovely vintage bedcoat. I just adore these classic gems and have a 1950s floral print one that rarely leaves my shoulders anytime I'm home from about the start of November to the end of March. I've been wearing it religiously for years now and it's held up remarkably well (things were so often made markedly more sturdily back then!).
ReplyDeleteWishing you an awesome weekend, dear gal!
