Last week mum and I made our first trip to Melbourne and of course this beautiful dress by Review Australia came with me!

As I said above this was our first trip to Melbourne (finally) and we had a wonderful few days, we packed a lot into each day too as there was so much that we wanted to do and see.

When this Review Australia dress first arrived in the mail the size 8 that I usually wear ran large in this style. The lovely ladies from the Review Melbourne Emporium store along with the Review PR arranged for me to exchange sizes whilst I was there. The size 6 ended up being the perfect fit for me without being too tight or restricting either.

The fabric is light, flowy and the most gorgeous print... Of course it is fully lined and I just love how elegant and flattering this style is. I also think it is another dress I can dress up or down. This is a timeless dress that will be one I keep reaching for over the years and it just made me feel really damn good, isn't that what is awesome about clothes!?! I was also beaming with excitement this particular evening as Erstwilder invited me for a photoshoot with them which was one of the reasons we made the trip to Melbourne but more on that later (my hair and make-up was also from the shoot, so of course I had to put this amazing dress on and head out for blog photos before tucking into dinner).

It was simple styling for this dress, I wore the one pair of heels I packed for the trip and this hairflower that I always wear. It was a hot day and humid evening so keeping everything to a minimal was a must but this dress didn't need too much accessorising as it is just so gorgeous on it's own!

I have a couple more blog posts from my Melbourne trip to come, next up will be a gorgeous swimsuit and then a post with a bunch of different photos from the trip including a mix up of outfits .

This Review Australia blog post is also in collaboration with Shopping Links

  1. So pretty! It's so cold and dark still here in the UK, this is making me wish for Spring! x

  2. A breath of lovely Spring air! The dress is so feminine, you look so utterly pretty in the soft pink floral print. Your hair is looking fab too, I can't wait to see photos from the Erstwilder shoot and hear more about your Melbourne trip xx
