It's now week 24 with the bump and it feels like the weeks are going quite quickly. Today we had a beautiful sunny day, it felt like an early spring day. I didn't even need stockings and it was a nice break from wearing pants.

This post feels like one of my more traditional blog posts, an outfit post. I bought this dress on ebay by the now retired brand Tara Starlet and it was always one size too big for me but I could never part with it. To much of my delight it fit better now and looked cute with the bump so I had to wear it out before the bump gets bigger and I can't do up the side zip haha! Paired with a coat, my favourite hat, these shoes that I love so much and some red lipstick I was feeling so good. Mum, the dogs and I had a great walk around the park, it was nice and quiet and the fresh air did wonders.

In the afternoon I drove over to my best friend's house, I'm not sure if I've mentioned it on here but she is also pregnant, she is 37 weeks so she will be here very soon and I'm so excited! I wanted to make sure she had some final images before her bub arrives so we did a little maternity shoot before the sun went down and took a few pics together too! We always wondered if we would end up experiencing pregnancy together and it has been so special to go through this exciting stage in our lives together.

I feel like the past few weeks of my pregnancy have been nice a cruisey and my energy levels have been great. I have been continuing with my nesting and tearing the house apart to sort through clothes and things we don't need. I am so excited to set up the cot and pram but I must wait until the house is sorted and then we can start making this room all special for our little girl.

She has continued to give me kicks and I keep feeling her move, mainly when I'm sitting down and relaxing. Though I do get a good kick from her occasionally when I'm working or driving the car. She reacts to cold drinks or when I have a little bit of sugar. Max and I get excited everyday about her and talk about all the things we can't wait to experience.

I finally had my first antenatal appointment with a midwife yesterday which was really informative, mum came along with me for this one. I got to hear her heartbeat again which is always exciting.

Other things I have purchased for this cheeky little bub this week have been some of the May Gibbs baby range from Big W and a manual breast pump. There's still plenty of things we need but it feels good to feel some what more organised.
