A Peaceful Old House

Thursday 8 November 2012

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the lack of posts... I'm still busy with university! I have one more report to finish and then I am done with university forever!

I have been continuing with my work placement at a local newspaper publication and have had the opportunity to write articles (amongst other various things). I am quite excited as I have been listed as a journalist in the last few newspapers I have worked on.

I've tried to find time for sewing and have started working on a dress using a vintage pattern and fabric and will post photos once I get the chance to finish it.

Here are some photos of myself hanging out in this old house where my father has been working and renovating for his customers. I wanted to get a couple of photos in the kitchen before it gets modernised... I might be able to keep the funky cupboards.

 Mirror shot haha!

I hope you have all been well, take care!

  1. Visited a peaceful old house today. Each creaky step whispered tales, and the walls held secrets of bygone laughter and sighs. It's like time paused, just for a bit. Makes you wonder about the stories we'll leave behind, doesn't it? Time's funny that way.

  2. I absolutely adore the timeless elegance of Men's Stylish Waistcoats! They add a touch of sophistication to any outfit and can instantly transform a casual look into something more refined. Pairing one with a crisp dress shirt and well-fitted trousers has always been my go-to for special occasions. It's the perfect choice for a classic, dapper style that never goes out of fashion.
