Wearing a simple 60's look with some fun accessories including my namesake earrings by Revere Folie!

Tape Measure Bow Brooch - c/o Jubly Umph
Turtleneck top - Valley Girl
Blue Trousers - Pinup Girl Clothing
Shoes - Vivienne Westwood/Melissa Lady Dragon Heels
Sunglasses - Kmart

I have always liked a fitted pair of trousers and a knitted top for a simple look to act as the base for showcasing accessories. Blue is one of my favourite colours to wear and more yellow pieces have been making their way into my wardrobe recently (+ my bathroom decor is yellow) so when Angie from Revere Folie revealed her design with myself in mind I knew she hit the nail on this one! I cannot recommend Revere Folie enough, I have sensitive ears and have not had any issues wearing these earrings.

I was feeling pretty good this particular day with my crazy hair, accessories and heels, some outfits just make you feel extra sassy. I added this amazing Jubly Umph brooch to tie in with the yellow of the earrings and just because I love it, I need to wear it with something I have made myself just because it seems like a good idea.

I am so excited to start wearing my trousers again + mix and match them with my sweaters and tops, I have so many combinations I want to try. I bought a few new pairs of trousers during summer and have been waiting to wear them and the weather is getting quite chilly now. I purchased this top in white, pink and black at the start of summer, they are a good staple that will go with just about anything! I have definitely made it to priority to add more plain separates to my wardrobe to go with some of my bolder skirts and trousers instead of thinking I have nothing to wear and having pieces neglected. When I first started wearing vintage fashion years ago I just kept buying dresses so it's nice to now have a practical wardrobe that has a lot of options and balance to it.

  3. I never wear yellow and blue (that isn't a denim kind I guess) together, but you've made a pretty convincing case for me to start! I love the 60s vibes with this outfit. Cute and practical - right up my street x

  4. I have said before that you look amazing in trousers. I like the colour of these - I need to get some different coloured trousers as most of mine are black for wearing to work
