Windy Waterfront Walks

Wednesday 3 August 2016

I'm always happy to welcome new nautical outfits and jumpsuits into my wardrobe, this one is another winner for me!

Jolene Jumpsuit - c/o Voodoo Vixen
Anchor Love Earrings - c/o Revere Folie
Sunglasses - Gloss
Hat - Glassons
Shoes - Novo

It has been and will continue to be a wet and windy week, so the jumpsuit is actually the perfect outfit for the waterfront. I don't really wear my dresses to the waterfront when it is like this so it is either pants or jumpsuits for me (unless it is a wiggle dress or I have a heavy coat on). The hat is not entirely appropriate but I could not leave it out of the photos - as you can see I am holding onto my hat in most photos haha!

I was pretty excited when I saw that Voodoo Vixen was releasing a jumpsuit and when it arrived I was even more excited (I see that they will have more jumpsuits for their next collection - yay)! Anyway, I am wearing size small - great fit and true to size, it has pockets - awesome, easy to step into with a big zip at the back - good, it is comfortable - so important and it is so damn cute - yessss!

I was feeling pretty happy and particularly smiley this morning. There is something about enjoying the fresh air and feeling the wind blowing against you (yes that probably sounds corny - but it is true), I was also happy to get some photos and avoid the rain for 10 minutes or so. I don't mind if the wind messes my hair up as I always feel instantly relaxed and very calm when I am by the water. I felt pretty awesome in this outfit too.

I had a busy weekend working on special projects which you will hear more about later.. So it was nice to have a bit of down time with mum and the dogs by the water even if it was just for a little while. Max just got home from his work trip to the US and is currently snoozing, so I thought I'd write my blog post before we make a noodle stir-fry for dinner and he tells me all about it all. Happy August!

The location and boats in the background matches the nautical theme very nicely too :D

  3. I wish I could pull a jumpsuit off - I'm just too short, the fit is always wrong and I kinda look like an over-sized child in a romper suit... or at least, that's how I feel I look! x

  9. That doesn't sound corny in the slightest. I think that experiencing things like a lovely breeze blowing against our skin is one of the most powerful elements of being alive.

This is such a charming outfit. I really like that you paired the jumpsuit with a wide brimmed hat. The ensemble looks all the more "chic 1930s beach" thanks to it.

  12. You can see in your face just how much you love being by the water, these photos are so happy and fresh looking. Great poses! I never did buy a nautical jumpsuit this year, I fully intended to but then I started to look at Autumn coloured ones and got confused! You're making me rethink! x

  13. ·Never oversell the property. If you do not have an existing permit to use the waterfront property, or you do not have access directly to the water, avoid promising this to a potential buyer. Available Layout
