Another jumpsuit and another windy day at the waterfront... Last month I went out for lunch and a shopping trip with Renee, we had a quick stop at the waterfront too. Jumpsuits are so good for windy days by the water and this one is a dream to wear! My hat didn't last long, as you can see I had to hold onto it in all photos! Because it was so damn windy I added a couple more photos so you can have a another look at the jumpsuit without the wind haha.

This is a new design by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury and it is made with lovely rayon crepe de chine fabric which is great for summer. I went with a size 8 for this jumpsuit and find that it fits well but it has quite a relaxed-looser fit which to me is great for eating and comfort purposes (you know, the usual two important factors I mention in most outfit posts lol). If you want a tighter fit I do think you could size down but this suits me just fine and the ties on the jumpsuit pull in my waist. I was chatting with Charlene from Rock n Romance and she has been wearing blouses underneath her jumpsuit for the cooler weather so I will have to try that next year. I wore this jumpsuit with the Collectif cardigan I have been sporting in recent blog posts because red and blue are always a classic combo.

The weather has been all over the place this week, just the other day I was wearing one of my big warm coats as it was raining and really cold, today I was in a sundress! I just hope it holds off because I have a specific day I am planning to photograph something and I need the sun to shine. Chromefest is next weekend, it's a big local rockabilly festival located by the water, the past two years that I've attended had perfect weather so let's hope that it's sunny this year too, I have a really fun outfit planned with warm weather in mind. Fingers crossed!

  1. One word- CUTE! This is a very nice vintage-type jumpsuit paired with a cute hat and some pretty sandals. Nice smile and hairstyle also.

  2. Another awesome jumpsuit Kayla and such fun photos by the water!
I wanted to go to Chromefest, but it's a bit hard to get the time of work, to travel and stay down your way for a few days, hopefully next year I may go! I hope you have a great time and looking forward to seeing photos! :)

  4. This jumpsuit is amazing - and super flattering. What a simple way to get a fab outfit and be comfortable. Now if only they'd make cute retro jumpsuits for shorties... Blue and red is my all time favourite colour combo :D x

  5. The drape of that fabric is so luxurious! I bet it is lovely to wear lounging about too. Very feminine, and a great combo with the red cardigan.
