A blue dress with beautiful details and a reindeer!

Blue Dita Dress - c/o Voodoo Vixen
Now, Prancer Brooch - c/o Erstwilder
Damfino Heart Earrings - c/o Revere Folie
Beret - Myer
Stockings - eBay
Shoes - Target

There's no denying that I wear a lot of blue and when I saw this Dita dress in the Voodoo Vixen lookbook a couple of months ago I was instantly drawn to the keyhole neckline, the long sleeves with buttons and the vibrant colour of this forties style dress.

The Dita dress has no zip but plenty of stretch, I went for my regular size small and found the fit to be spot on. It's a shame that it's getting warm here because I want to wear it again and again but I am look forward to wearing it with one of my favourite coats next year. I ended up liking this dress even more than I thought I would and one major factor is because it is so comfortable yet really glam. Comfort is key to me and the more comfortable that something is means that I'll get plenty of wear out of it.

I'm also wearing the Now, Prancer brooch by Erstwilder which is just so cute, this reindeer will go really well with a lot of my festive and regular clothing so I look forward to wearing him all season long.
The Erstwilder team also has a special Bon Bon brooch on offer as a gift for those who purchase four or more brooches, this is strictly limited. I have fond memories over the years of opening Bon Bons, or Crackers as we prefer to call them. They usually have a little novelty toy or gift inside (which is never really good), a silly joke.. Sometimes the joke is so bad it becomes even more hilarious than the actual joke itself and of course the paper crown which I insist on wearing for a good portion of the day. I would say that is one of my favourite parts of Christmas and always has been.

In other news our family cat George turned one year old yesterday so I spent a good portion of the night giving him hugs and I had a BBQ with my family. I can't believe it's Christmas next month too, seriously where does the time go???

  4. It's really nice to see a dress in this shade of blue actually - I feel like they're not all that common? It's a very elegant style, and of course I love it with a beret :D x
