I have been after a satchel bag for a while but wasn't sure what I was looking for until I was introduced to The Cambridge Satchel Company. The conductor bag is inspired by the bags used by London bus conductors of the past, click here for some vintage images to see the inspiration behind this design.

This leather satchel is made in the UK, the attention to detail and quality is amazing which makes it a truly special bag in my collection. It has enough room to fit my large phone, wallet, keys, lipstick, mirror and a few other small bits and pieces inside. I have already taken it out a few times and I love that it goes with lots of outfits, I knew navy would be a good choice for me. The bag comes in it's own special box with a dust bag to keep it safe, I always love little details like that. The Cambridge Satchel Company makes beautiful bags that will never go out of style and I look forward to using my one for many years to come! I'm sure that you'll see it with plenty of my outfits on the blog since it's a new go-to in my wardrobe!

This dress has to be one of the best winter dresses ever, I love it so much that I have it in the black plaid colourway too. I have always wanted a hooded dress like this so I made sure I grabbed this in the Collectif sales a couple of months ago and I was lucky to grab the other version of this dress on eBay in my size a while ago too. It's warm, a gorgeous fit and the buttons, pocket trimming + hood lining are velvet!

Today I got to hang out with mum and the dogs, it was a beautiful warm and sunny day so I was wearing something pretty opposite to this outfit. It has now cooled down this evening so I'm making some roast pumpkin, garlic and sweet potato soup, yum!

  1. I love their satchels too. And oh what a fabulous dress. I assumed it was a coat on first glance, and then it slowly dawned on me that it's a dress. With a hood - wow! Kx

  3. Hmm, Im having real problems commenting on Blogger blogs for some reason - so you may or may not have seen me squealing about the crab bag just now, lol! Anyway, is it a travesty that I haven't got a Cambridge satchel, given I live there?!?! For shame! I'm never sure if I like them, but having just picked up a cheap one I might be changing my mind. Also this one you're styling here is really different and cute, so you may have convinced me! x

  4. I find that satchel bags can be quite large and bulky, but this one is just lovely. Much smaller and more elegant in shape. Such a great little runaround bag whilst out and about.
