Jess Racklyeft, an artist who has illustrated children's books, draws a variation of things, pin maker and other beautiful creations like this scarf and has illustrated + designed collections for my favourite brooch brand, Erstwilder.
I was honoured when Jess offered me the chance to sample one of her limited edition silk scarfs which features Australian native birds (totally my style)! I was so excited when it arrived, it was neatly packaged with a beautiful card with it's edition number on the back, there are only 100 of these beauties making it even more special.
It's lightweight and a beautiful size for wearing with my outfits, in my hair, tied to a bag or even hanging up on a wall as a feature piece etc. The colours are vibrant and the illustrations are stunning, I wouldn't expect anything less from the talented Jess.
This would make such a beautiful gift for someone special in your life or a gift to yourself. Lots of my favourite Aussie birds feature on this scarf and I love how they sit amongst the blue backdrop and coloured edges. Jess puts so much love into her work and I could see it as soon as I opened this scarf out of it's packaging.
