Graduation Day!

Dress - Stop Staring
Back-seam stockings - 1950s Vintage
Shoes - Target

Today I graduated from University and couldn't be happier! For three years I worked hard for my degree and it was so nice to be in the company of family to celebrate my achievement (and I couldn't have done it with out them by my side)!

My mother, father, brother and boyfriend Max all watched me receive my degree on stage (and all cheered loudly for me in the audience) - what a great family hehe! Max appears on the blog every now and again, I couldn't help but share this photo of us - I love it! The rest of my family didn't want their photo up today, but that's okay hehe!

So during my time at University I studied a Bachelor of Arts with two majors... Studying a mix of English, creative writing, journalism, social studies and film studies etc.

I was originally going to wear a different Stop Staring dress, however, this dress came in the mail two days ago and I tried it on and knew it was THE dress. And the graduation cap and gown went well too. It is also very comfy which was perfect for sitting down during the ceremony and eating lots of food at the reception afterwards.

Of course I had to get some photos without the gown to show off my dress and I have been saving these gorgeous 1950s vintage stockings for a special occasion and today was the day! Unfortunately they got ladders towards the end of the day, but I might get another wear or two out of them! I got them for free so I'm not too worried.

Well today was great and it feels amazing to have finished something so important to me.

I hope you are all well and enjoy the rest of your week!

    1. Thank you. I wear a garterbelt with proper metal clips and they hold fine. Vintage ones have a keyhole which holds the seam in place... I'm sure some reproduction stockings have that too! :)
