Wearing floaty palazzo pants by Voodoo Vixen, I am so in love with them!

I am all for floaty pants, maxi dresses and jumpsuits - These palazzo pants really are a dream to wear and are quite a glamorous pair of pants too. I took them out for their first spin at the local gardens and enjoyed a stroll around the large park grounds with my bestie Renee. It was an overcast day but the weather was quite warm and the outfit was perfect for a walk.

First off I will talk about sizing, Voodoo Vixen have recently introduced size xs to most of their trousers which is great as my trousers from last season were a bit too big and I think the xs works perfectly for my waist and hips now, I'd love to try some of the new capri pants with the new sizing to compare. There are some cute ones this season so I may have to add some of the new range capri pants to my wardrobe soon.

These trousers are elasticised at the back so they are very comfortable and allow for a bit of extra room which is good if you are a little worried about sizing or like that bit of comfort in general... or for dining out. I am very pleased with the introduction of size xs and most VV trousers go up to size xl. These trousers are currently out of stock on the website but I will update this blog post when I have more information, otherwise you may be able to find a stockist who has them available. UPDATE: There is currently a limited amount of size small & medium trousers on the website with with the rest being restocked next week! YAY!

These pants also have lining that just reaches about mid thigh so you don't have to stress too much about the colour of your underwear showing through as it has quite good coverage. These trousers can be styled all sorts of ways and to suit different eras which is why I really love them.

I was feeling pretty hypo and smiley today, probably because of these pants, the fresh air, good company and the lovely surroundings (+ a good breakfast)... I even took a bunch of crazy photos with my camera remote jumping around and what not, you know the usual. I like to have a laugh at the silly photos that don't make it to the blog when I sort them all, maybe I will share some because why not?!

Anyway, the rain has held off most of this week... Until now, so it will be a rainy weekend spent inside - I'm glad that I got to go to the park whilst the rain held off. The dogs and I will be out with our raincoats tomorrow for a quick walk as the heavy rain will cut it short. We will just have to play doggy games indoors and snuggle up with a movie.

Have a great weekend!

  7. Absolutely beautiful trousers (sorry, just can't call them pants, it just doesn't mean the same here!). I wish my short legs could take somethign like this, but alas, I think they'd just make me look ever shorter! They're probably virtually as wide as my legs are long!
