I can't help but love an outfit with an interesting print or theme, the Charlotte's Web sweater and skirt by The Oblong Box Shop is a really beautiful set with lots of gorgeous details!

I haven't tried anything from this brand before so I was curious about the fit and quality of their clothes. The sweater and skirt are a great fit for me, I went with size small for both... The skirt was a comfy fit with enough room to tuck the sweater in. The sweater has a bit of stretch to it and is really soft to wear. The sweater buttons up at the neck and the skirt has a back zip + button and features one hidden side pocket. I love pockets, they make outfits so much more practical, especially when I need to pull my phone out and snap a photo of the dogs!

I don't wear petticoats very often and as you can see from these photos the skirt is very full which is awesome. These pieces are really beautiful quality and the sweater is perfect for this time of year, it will be a great transitional piece for the seasons, the vibrant coral colour is also a favourite for me (I really love embroidery too)!

These photos were taken by me at my favourite little park where I walk the dogs, the morning light was so pretty and I love this tree, it doesn't look too shabby with the outfit too. Soon enough this mulberry tree will be full of leaves and berries once spring makes it's way!

Sewing update: I finished the dress I was working on and have already started my next project... Now I just need to blog these projects!

Have a great week!

  1. This feels quite different for you - maybe it's the fullness of the skirt or the contrast between top and bottom but I love it. So stylish and the shapes and colours work so well. Just lovely! Kx
