On receiving my AVA Design dresses the first thing that I noticed was the quality and construction of the garments. This dress is delightful to wear and it is a fully lined dress which makes it so smooth and soft on the inside, I could wear it all day. The fabric is cool for summer and spring, but could be worn during the colder seasons too... It would adapt well.
I just love pleating and I adore the details on the bodice and skirt of the dress! The black waist band is elegant and really finishes off this colourful floral design. It could definitely be taken from work to play too!
I will definitely be wearing this dress all year round, I am excited for it too cool down so I can start wearing my back-seam stockings again, I think this dress would look cute styled for winter too.

I find floral dresses really hard to wear, actually! I feel like too much of a dolly in them - I think I prefer my prints a bit edgier or more unusual (well, dog print basically would do me just fine). Good thing they look fab on others like you then! Nora had good things to say about AVA too - not one I've come across in the UK so will have to keep an eye out.. CC x

ReplyDeleteOh my word, this is beautiful! I love how amazing this rich, gorgeous shade of purpley-fuschia looks on me. It's a near impossible hue for me to pull off in large doses, yet I do so adore it, and try to still add it into my wardrobe in tiny doses. This is such a stellar dress, pattern, and look on you, honey.
