A Statement Necklace, Miz Mooz and a Blue Summer Dress!

I've had this dress on my mannequin for a good few weeks and I have been thinking about how I would style it... I just love how this look came together in the end and I want to wear it over and over again. I am also featuring this fabulous necklace by Totally Jewel and some gorgeous summer shoes by Miz Mooz.

I've tried and tested out Miz Mooz shoes a couple of times now when I modelled for Elise Design and they are extremely comfortable - I wore them most of the day on shoot and I even climbed some rocks in them to get the shot! This New York based brand has become extremely popular in Australia too so it's great to be able to have access to all styles on their Australian website, you can also find them at Elise Design or just search online for your nearest stockist. I will now happily live in the Phyllis shoes this summer - so expect to see them with a quite a few outfits on the blog.

I love statement necklaces and this particular one really caught my eye, Totally Jewel makes fabulous accessories and I was pretty excited that this one went so well with my dress. You can also win a Totally Jewel necklace on their Instagram!

My hair has been on it's best behaviour too lately, after a bit of a trim my natural curls are even curlier and my pin curl sets are providing good results. My hair seems to grow quite quickly so I don't mind taking a bit off, it's definitely easier to manage when I am at the beach during summer.

Another garment that made it's way into my wardrobe recently is the Pinup Girl Clothing Underskirt and so I finally tested it out and really like the result. The gorgeous CiCi recently published a review about it so check out her blog post here! I'm not that into wearing petticoats as they aren't very practical for me on a daily basis so I am really pleased with this alternative and I think it will work pretty well during summer.
